DANVILLE, ILL.—Mrs. Mary Bernice Hall, age 61, of 2503 Cannon St., Danville, died at 7:10 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 9, in St. Elizabeth Hospital where she had been a patient three weeks. She had been in ill health several months. She had lived in Danville since 1946 and had been employed as a presser at Phillips Laundry for 25 years, last working in 1954. Mrs. Hall was born May 7, 1904 in Covington, the daughter of Caleb and Henrietta Carter Brakley. She attended the Covington schools. She was married April 6, 1938, to Edward Utesch, who preceded her in death. Surviving from this marriage is a son, William A. Utesch of Danville. She was married Dec. 23, 1952 to Fred Hall, who survives. She was a member of the Covington Methodist Church. Also surviving are: three brothers, Loran Brakley of Crown Point, Ind., George F. Brakley of Munster, Ind., and Caleb Brakley of Covington. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister. Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. today, Wednesday, Jan. 12, at the Pape Memorial Home here. The Rev. Arthur Browning officiated and burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Covington.  --typed by Walt W
